Summer Trips for Upper School Students in 2025

It is with great excitement that The Country School announces the addition of 2025 summer trips for our Upper School students!

See the Summer Trips page of our website for all the information.

Costa Rica:
Put your Spanish skills to use and explore the extraordinary nature and culture of Costa Rica. We'll see dense rainforest and hot springs, nature parks and a conservation museum. We'll kayak on beautiful Lake Arenal in the shadow of the Arenal Volcano and zipline through the treetops of a wildlife refuge. We'll visit the Ecolodge Biological Reserve, where we'll hear from locals about their conservation efforts. In all, we'll spend seven nights and eight days on a private tour for TCS students in the land of gallo pinto and pura vida. Join us for an eye-opening, mind-expanding experience you'll never forget.
    White Mountains of New Hampshire:
Join our leadership adventure this summer to experience nature, challenge yourself, and learn foundational leadership skills in the breathtaking White Mountains of New Hampshire.

Our group will spend three nights in Franconia Notch State Park at Lafayette Place Campground pursuing day trips to build basic expedition skills while hiking, swimming, and camping. Our final three days we’ll spend high in alpine terrain, above 4,000 feet, on a three-day excursion into the Franconia Range.

During our backcountry experience we will spend two nights at the renowned Appalachian Mountain Club Huts.  Here we will stay in amazing backcountry lodging with breakfast and dinner provided each day by the Hut Croo - yes, that is how they spell “crew”! We will finish our adventure with a well-deserved trip to Whale’s Tale Waterpark before flying back to Baltimore on Thursday evening.  Don’t miss out!
