The Dean Family

"As Eastern Shore Natives, we grew up well aware of The Country School’s stellar reputation. When our oldest child was preparing to start school, we immediately thought of The Country School. We first met with [the admissions director] to discuss whether the school was a viable option for us. Brad and I being  products of public school, we weren’t familiar with the environment and expectations of a private school. After meeting with Annie Hasselgren, we knew this was where we needed to be. Today, with both our children attending, we couldn’t be happier. From the start, we have been impressed not only by our teachers’ skill and knowledge, but by the enthusiasm in which they bring day in and day out to accomplishing goals. The small class sizes, dress code, respect for educational standards, and strong emphasis on reading are just a few of the many compliments we could mention.  Never has a teacher not offered to help. Never has an administrator not been accommodating. We couldn’t be more proud to be a part of a school in which we all share a common goal of raising intelligent, well rounded, productive children. Thank you to Annie, and all the staff and administration, for welcoming The Deans into the TCS family!"
