The Country School Parents' Association (CSPA) sponsors many different school events and activities designed to connect parents with each other and engage them in the life of the school.
Room parents. The CSPA coordinates and supports room parents for each PreK through Fifth homeroom and each Sixth through Eighth grade level. Room parents coordinate class-specific events, help build community among each class, and support our teachers.
Coffees in the courtyard. At the beginning of the school year, the CSPA hosts a series of Coffees in the Courtyard for parents by grade level. Coffees in the Courtyard a great opportunity to reconnect with parents after the summer, meet new parents, and hear from the Head of School at the start of a new school year.
Holiday breakfast. The holiday breakfast is a beloved Country School tradition that brings our school community together before winter break. Students dress up to enjoy breakfast with their classmates and gather for schoolwide assembly at which parents join them to celebrate the holiday season.
School supplies for every student. At The Country School, there is no dreaded or overwhelming list of school supplies sent home for parents to race to purchase before September. Instead the CSPA raises funds to purchase and distribute school supplies requested by teachers that are waiting as a welcome package for each student on the first day of school.
Cougar shop. The CSPA runs the Cougar Shop, a uniform resale shop where families can trade in uniforms from the previous year and shop for gently used uniforms for the coming year. The Cougar Shop helps families save on uniform costs and is a great resource for students when spills or rips happen throughout the school day!
