Diversity Art Project

Upper School Campus - Hanrahan Hall - HH
Our Diversity Committee is working on an exciting project to bring the inclusive culture of The Country School front and center. On February 27th or March 2nd, students in grades K-8 have the option of spending their afternoon creating artwork that will be transferred onto tiles that will border our Country School Philosophy and Diversity Statements. Each statement will be mounted in decal format on the walls in Hanrahan Hall and in two areas in the Lower School campus. Students who would like to participate will create artwork that illustrates our wonderful and diverse group of students and families at TCS. Our selection committee will choose 46 tiles to be used in the installation. The activity will take place in Hanrahan Hall on 2/27 and 3/2 from 3:30-5:00pm and will be overseen by Mrs. Hasselgren and Ms. Davis. We will provide a snack and bring the students to the front door at 5pm. If your child would like to participate, you may register them at this link for one of the two dates. Students may come with a sketch, so long as it is in a square format (8x8", 6X6", etc.). Any questions may be directed to Annie Hasselgren.
